DSP Engineer (M/F)

Responsibilities:
  • To develop products that process sound with exceptional quality for our hearing implant users.
  • To develop signal processing algorithms on the new implantable Cochlear platform that will address unmet needs.
  • To implement, document and verify signal processing algorithms in assembly, C, MATLAB and Simulink.
  • To engage with the collaborative team culture, share ideas and experiences, work in an open team-spirit.
  • To collaborate with other departments to understand the user and business needs and translate this into signal processing.
  • To provide technical support and troubleshooting assistance to help resolve customer issues.
Requirements:
  • University degree or equivalent in electronics engineering with ± 5 years of experience in audio signal processing.
  • Knowledge of acoustics.
  • Programming experience with DSPs.
  • Knowledge of simulation environments (MATLAB, Simulink), common PC programming languages (C, C++) and script languages (Python).
  • Experience in DSP development for hearing aids is a strong asset.
  • Excellent communication skills in English
